2010 - Polar Bear Camporee

This camporee can could be described in one word "BRRRRRR". The lowest recorded temperature was 13 degrees farenheit on Saturday morning. The  troop "roughed" it out in tents. During the day the scouts went from station to station competing in scouting events. Sunday night was also very cold but thanks to preparation most everyone said that that they slept well during the night thus proving the scouting motto of "be prepared'. The attendance was quite high with about 200 scouts from the district attending.
